Our used truck department stocks most major makes and models. Worldwide’ s extensive inventory includes Tow Trucks both light duty and heavy duty, trailers, service trucks and other equipment.
Sales Consultant:
This position utilizes our companies Core Values to sell all Worldwide Equipment Sales products using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge skills to influence customers and assist them in applying our products/services to their needs resulting in revenue generation for the company and excellent service for our customers. This position requires a large amount of interaction and communication with customers and prospects to facilitate the sales process.
Responsibilities:
- Sell heavy-duty trucks/trailers and related components spec’s.
- Call on prospective customers and assigned accounts within assigned territory.
- Maintains contacts with customers in relation to their requirements; keep current on market and customer trends and document all activity in the companies CRM system.
- Identifies and profiles prospective customers.
- Prepare sales quotes, sales assistance and analyze truck market data.
- Develop and apply strategy necessary to obtain orders, close potential orders.
- Reports on competitive activity.
- Keeps informed on new products and other general information of interest to customers that will assist in sales efforts.
- Coordinates efforts with outside parts, service, and new and used heavy duty truck sales personnel to achieve full market penetration.
- Ability to plan and prioritize workload.
- Greets customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Understands and follows work rules and procedures.
- Follows lawful directions from supervisors.
- Upholds the company’s non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements.
- Attends company meetings as required.
- Maintains a professional appearance and work area in accordance with company policy.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Medium duty and/or heavy-duty truck sales experience preferred
- Experience in the heavy-duty truck industry
- Familiar with the commercial community
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities at the same time
- Strong customer service and sales skills
- Must have a valid and clean driver’s license
- Must have a positive attitude
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- General ability to operate a computer.
- Ability to drive a manual and automatic transmission
- Must be a reliable, competitive self-starter
- Must be able to stand, walk, drive, move in all directions, stoop, kneel, and be able to lift items to assist in inspecting vehicles
