General Sales Manage
The General Sales Manager is responsible to lead our sales team and drive the overall performance of our dealerships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in automotive sales management, demonstrating a strong ability to oversee operations, manage financial performance, and develop a high-performing sales team.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the sales department, ensuring alignment with the dealership’s goals and objectives.
- Monitor and manage sales performance, budgets, and inventory levels to maximize profitability and efficiency.
- Establish performance goals for the sales team, ensuring accountability and motivating team members to achieve targets.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and dealership policies, promoting best practices in sales processes and customer interactions.
- Foster a positive team culture through effective coaching, performance plans, and corrective action when necessary. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to drive engagement and development.
- Stay informed about market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to make informed business decisions.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies, enhancing dealership visibility and customer reach.
- Play an active role in recruiting and onboarding top talent to strengthen the sales team.
- Represent the dealership in community events and industry functions, reinforcing our commitment to customer service and community engagement.

Ideal Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory supply chain management.
- Experience in finance, documentation, budgeting, and insurance processes.
- Familiarity with used car sales and OEM expertise.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
