What You'll Do

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
• Maintain consistency, presentation, and portion control during every service
• Manage and organize your line station for maximum efficiency
• Work closely with kitchen team members to coordinate ticket times and food delivery
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout your workstation
• Follow all food safety and health department guidelines
• Monitor product quality and minimize food waste
• Assist with inventory management and communicate product needs to kitchen leadership
• Adapt to menu changes, special requests, and varying service volumes
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused kitchen environment

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Line Cook, Line Chef, Prep Cook, or similar kitchen role
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen best practices
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently during busy service times

Preferred Qualifications

• Culinary degree or culinary training
• Experience working in a high-volume restaurant environment
• Familiarity with a variety of cooking techniques and menu styles
• ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain
• Basic understanding of inventory and food cost control

Schedule

This position is expected to run through the end of the year and includes:

• Days
• Evenings
• Weekends
• Holidays

Availability during peak business periods is preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to heat, steam, and varying temperatures
• Ability to bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive kitchen tasks

Seasonal Employment Information

Seasonal positions are not eligible for company-sponsored benefits, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, or retirement plans.

Overtime pay may apply for hours worked in excess of 40 hours per week in accordance with applicable law.
