Position Overview:
Pristow’s Equipment Group is seeking a motivated, organized individual with strong customer service skills to join our team as a Parts Counter Associate at our Kubota dealership in Johnstown, PA. This position plays a key role in supporting the parts department and ensuring customers receive accurate, timely service.
Compensation:
- $17.00 per hour
- Plus 10% net commission on personal over-the-counter parts sales
- Target first-year earnings: $40,000 – $50,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers at the parts counter in a professional and timely manner
- Look up, source, and sell parts accurately
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Assist with receiving and stocking inventory
- Process internet orders and coordinate shipping
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parts department
- Support the Parts Manager with daily operations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- General computer proficiency
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Mechanical aptitude, including a working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, small engines, and related components
- Solid math skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to load and unload various products
- Frequent climbing, bending, reaching, squatting, pushing, pulling, and walking
- Ability to lift 25–40 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
Work Environment:
This position operates in a fast-paced dealership environment and requires the ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
