Overview:
We seek a dedicated person with an eye for detail to join our team. You must be able to accommodate the customer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order within the facilities. This is a W2 position and is paid weekly. Work hours are Monday - Friday starting at 5.30pm and is 30 hours a week.
Duties:
- Perform custodial duties such as cleaning, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming floors
- Running floor machines such as scrubbers and burnishers
- Maintaining equipment and keep in running order
- Able to strip and refinish floors independantly
- Cleaning restrooms, breakrooms, offices and surfaces
- Maintain and stock cleaning supplies
- Ensure all areas are kept clean and sanitized
- Handle waste disposal and recycling
- Perform minor maintenance tasks as needed
- Assist with setting up for events or meetings
Skills:
- MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND TEST
- Experience in industrial cleaning and floor care
- Be reliable and on time
- Must have own reliable vehicle
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must be able to work either independently or as part of a team
- Professional attitude
- Self motivated and productive
- Good communication skills
- Proficiency in custodial and facilities maintenance work
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices
- Strong attention to detail in cleaning and organizing tasks
