Mower/Landscaper

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mower/Landscaper to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful and healthy landscapes by performing lawn care, landscape maintenance, and various gardening tasks. Your expertise will help create inviting outdoor spaces that enhance the environment and meet client expectations. Duties

• Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools to maintain lawns and landscaped areas
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, pruning, planting, and mulching to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal
• Use hand tools for planting, weed control, soil preparation, and other gardening activities
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, or installing components to ensure proper watering
• Assist with tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal using appropriate equipment like chainsaws or specialized tools
• Conduct snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients
• Support hardscape projects by preparing sites, laying pavers or stones, and ensuring proper installation of outdoor features

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and power tools for safe operation and maintenance
• Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, and gardening practices
• Familiarity with landscape construction techniques including hardscape installation and site preparation
• Ability to operate excavation equipment such as mini excavators when needed for larger projects
• Knowledge of horticulture principles related to plant health, soil management, and tree care techniques
• Skilled in using hand tools like shovels, pruners, rakes, and hoes efficiently
• Understanding of irrigation systems for installation and troubleshooting purposes
• Ability to perform snow plowing safely during winter seasons
• Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety standards in all tasks
