Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and outdoor spaces as needed
• Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met consistently
• Use various cleaning equipment and detergents effectively to clean surfaces, floors, carpets, and upholstery
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and appliances to maintain a pristine appearance
• Handle manual lifting of cleaning supplies and heavy furniture safely during deep cleans or move-in/move-out services
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and provide excellent customer service
• Maintain organized work schedules through effective time management to complete assigned tasks efficiently
• Follow safety protocols related to janitorial and custodial work to prevent accidents or injuries
• Ensure outdoor areas are tidy by sweeping patios or walkways when applicable

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping is preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and other tools effectively
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents and chemicals while adhering to safety guidelines
• Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects safely when necessary
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their expectations
• Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple homes
• Outdoor work experience is advantageous for handling exterior cleaning tasks or yard maintenance when required
• Physical stamina for active work including standing for long periods, bending, reaching, and manual labor throughout the day
