Join my team as a Lawn Fertilizing Technician and become a vital part of creating beautiful, healthy outdoor turfs! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing lawns and turf areas through skilled use of riding fertilizer machinery. Your expertise will help clients enjoy vibrant, well-manicured environments while ensuring safety and efficiency on every job site (green and weed free lawns.) This paid SALARY position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in lawn fertilizing & pest control while working outdoors in a fast-paced, physical yet in a rewarding setting.
Duties
- Operate a riding machine to fertilize, spray weeds using the machine and maintaining beautiful lawns.
- Apply granule fertilizer, weed control & pest control treatments safely and effectively to protect lawns from weeds and greening up of turfs.
- Conduct lawn assessments and assist with recommending to customera extra services while analyzing turfs and fertilization tasks to promote healthy growth. Attention to detail is needed at all times.
- Use driving skills to navigate between multiple job sites efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines
- Perform routine inspections of fertilizing equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
- Follow all safety procedures when handling chemicals or operating machinery to ensure a secure work environment. Attention to detail!
Qualifications
- Previous experience in lawn fertilizing riders, farming, or agriculture is highly preferred
- Familiarity with fertilizing/weed/pesticide control methods and applications is a plus
- Ability to operate fertilizing equipment confidently
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for safe transportation between sites
- Strong work ethic with the willingness to learn new skills in lawn fertilzing and pest management
- Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality results on every project
