Dental Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice in Florissant, MO. Our office hours are Mon - Fri 8 am - 5 pm.The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic while providing exceptional care to our patients. Minimum one year dental assisting experience is preferred.

Duties

• Assist the dentist during various dental procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
• Take medical imaging as required, including X-rays and 3D scans.
• Document patient medical histories accurately and maintain up-to-date medical documentation.
• Monitor and record vital signs of patients prior to procedures.
• Provide chairside assistance during examinations and treatments.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Ensure the dental office is clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations.

Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
