Role Description The Senior Project Manager role is a full-time, on-site position located in the Southeast USA. This role is responsible for leading complex projects from initiation through completion, including defining scope, developing schedules, managing budgets, and coordinating cross-functional teams. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing logistics and expediting activities, conducting site inspections, monitoring project milestones, and preparing progress reports for internal and external stakeholders. The Senior Project Manager will collaborate with clients, contractors, and vendors to resolve issues, mitigate risks, and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards. This role also involves mentoring junior team members, refining project management processes, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong project leadership capabilities, including Project Management skills with experience overseeing complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
- Proficiency in Expediting and Expeditor responsibilities to ensure timely delivery of materials, services, and critical project components.
- Hands-on experience with Inspection activities, including quality checks, compliance verification, and documenting findings.
- Logistics Management skills to coordinate resources, schedules, and workflows across multiple sites and vendors.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, or a related field; advanced certifications such as PMP or equivalent are preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders, negotiate solutions, and manage conflict constructively.
- Proven track record of working on-site in construction, healthcare, commercial, or manufacturing environments with strong safety awareness.
