Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Our Immigration Law Unit handles a variety of immigration cases, including deportation defense, family-based and humanitarian-based immigration benefits, T and U Visas, VAWA applications, and asylum matters. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct representation to clients before the Immigration Court and USCIS.
- Preparing and delivering community education.
- Conducting outreach and active bar participation.
- Leading special legal and community projects.
- Supervising immigration staff attorneys and paralegals, including completing staff evaluations, providing regular feedback, ensuring grant requirements are met, managing grants and outcome deliverables, and conducting regular Unit meetings and case review sessions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Member in good standing of the Florida Bar Association.
- Demonstrable awareness and sensitivity to the needs of the populations we serve.
- Ability to manage a large caseload and function professionally in a highly stressful environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including other attorneys, support staff, volunteers, and community partners.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Constructive collaboration skills.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.

Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
