Food Service Operation Worker
Location: 1915 Eisenhower Dr, Savannah, GA 31406

Start Date: August 3, 2026
Contract End Date: June 22, 2027
Schedule
- Shift: 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Workweek: 40 hours
- Monday–Friday with rotating weekday shifts
- Every other weekend required
- Must be available to work either shift based on departmental needs
Pay Rates
- Regular: $11.75/hour
- Overtime: $17.63/hour
- Double Time: $23.50/hour
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and serve food.
- Set up and operate tray line/cafeteria service.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
- Wash dishes and dispose of waste.
- Operate kitchen equipment and food carts safely.
- Operate cash register when required.
Physical Requirements
- Stand/walk for most of the shift.
- Lift up to 40 lbs independently and 75 lbs with assistance.
- Wear slip-resistant shoes.
- Must be available for rotating shifts and weekend work.
