Retail Counter Sales Associate/Delivery Driver
We are seeking a Delivery Driver / Retail Counter Sales Associate to join our team! This role combines customer service at the retail counter with safe, timely product deliveries to our commercial and contractor customers. What You’ll Do
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to customers at the counter and during deliveries
- Deliver products safely, on time, and with accurate documentation
- Assist with restocking, inventory management, and store operations between deliveries
- Support sales goals by recommending products, services, and promotions
- Maintain company vehicles (daily inspections, cleanliness, and reporting issues)
- Follow all company safety policies, DOT guidelines, and PPE requirements
Preferred Industry Background
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in one or more of the following domains:
- Automotive Parts & Service (counter sales, delivery drivers, warehouse support)
- Construction & Building Materials Supply (contractor sales, inventory handling, delivery)
- Industrial Distribution / Supply Chain & Logistics (route deliveries, warehousing, order fulfillment)
- Tool & Equipment Rental Services (customer support, delivery and returns, product knowledge)
What We’re Looking For
- 1 year of experience in delivery driving, retail counter sales, warehouse, or logistics
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (DOT certification required/maintained)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly (up to 100 lbs occasionally)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge; quick learner
- High school diploma or equivalent (forklift experience a plus)
