Job Summary
The Supervisor of Emergency Services Communications performs complex managerial and professional work within the Ambulance Services department. This position is responsible for management and oversight of the coordinated fleet/ground transport system and the communication/dispatch system for all of the statewide areas served by Prisma Health. Day to day operations include 911 EMD Dispatch, Scheduled and Un-scheduled EMS transports - including Emergent, Urgent, and non-Emergent transports- CAD systems, and radio communication systems, along with associated technology. This also includes administration of departmental personnel and any future programs that fall within the confines of the department, as assigned by the Manager or Director. Essential Functions

- Works with and monitors CAD operations to ensure accuracy of information held within and ensure confidentiality of data points and measures. Works to ensure operational readiness of the Emergency Communications Center (ECC) 24/7.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external agencies, and stakeholders to ensure effective information flow.
- Supervise and mentor communications personnel, including scheduling, performance management, and professional development.
- Oversee day-to-day communication operations, including emergency dispatch, incident reporting, and information dissemination.
- Ensure the reliability, functionality, and maintenance of all communication systems and equipment.
- Develop, implement, and enforce communication policies, protocols, and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor performance metrics, track operational efficiency, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations and standards.
- Operates as a call taker or dispatcher as needed for fill in for open, un-filled positions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
- Education - High School diploma or equivalent OR post-high school diploma/highest degree earned - preferred
- Experience - Three (3) years of experience as a 911 Dispatcher. Three (3) years of experience as a Paramedic preferred. One (1) year Leadership experience preferred
