Job Summary
Registered Nurse responsible for implementing the Choose Well Initiative's Immediate Postpartum (IPP) contraceptive program for Prisma Health.
Essential Functions

- Builds relationships with Physicians and office staff to effectively meet the needs of the patients.
- Coordinates with American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists to assure needed training is provided.
- Counsels women on their choices for contraception with a focus on immediate postpartum contraceptive care.
- Manages and maintains long-acting reversible contraceptives in collaboration with pharmacy.
- Provides patient follow-up and referrals for care necessary beyond discharge.
- Creates innovative plans to connect vulnerable patients to safe, high-quality contraceptive care.
- Manages required data and creates reports and presentations as needed.
- Maintains content knowledge on immediate postpartum long-acting reversible contraceptive services including, but not limited to reimbursement, eligibility, latest research and key elements necessary to have successful program.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.
- Education - Associate degree in nursing. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Experience - One (1) year of nursing experience. Data collection, record keeping, Protected Health Information training, and research experience is preferred.

- Knowledgeable in women's health, patient education, and project management.
