Job Summary

This may include functions of receipt, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Job Summary

Essential Functions

- Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials or other stock items and distributes items to automated conveyor line with the use of Voice/Carousel Technology.
- Assists shipping and receiving of stock/non-stock items, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to WMS/LAWSON orders.
- Moves materials from receiving or storage areas to shipping or pick locations. Sorts and places materials or items to these locations based on system configuration. Operates forklift, as needed.
- Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
- Operates hand truck, cart, forklift, dollies, “man-up” order-picker, and walkie to transport stored items from warehouse locations for shipment.
- Assists in counting of physical inventory and daily cycle counts.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- This is a non-management job that report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.
- Education - High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience - One (1) year work forklift experience. Automated supply/distribution experience preferred

- Must be able to pass Prisma Health's written and driving test for forklift certification once hired.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established distribution standards.
