Job Summary
The Business Development Specialist is a motivated, organized, and creative individual who welcomes the challenges of acquiring and developing new business through sales efforts focus on Control Panels and System Integration. You will build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and close business deals while maintaining an extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
Responsibilities
Cultivate strong business relationships with key decision makers
Proactively identify new opportunities and deliver innovative solutions to customers
Develop market strategies by researching lists of high potential prospects
Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends and positioning opportunities
Negotiate and close deals that support company objectives
Generate leads through networking, cold calling, industry events, and online research
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’ degree or equivalent experience in Business
3+ years’ of sales or account management experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to think strategically and identify growth opportunities
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Strong presentation and proposal writing skills
Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset
Understanding of financial and market analysis
