Key Responsibilities
- Develop, edit, and validate CMM programs using Calypso software for Zeiss CMM systems
- Perform dimensional inspections on aerospace engine components including blades, vanes, disks, rings, seals, and rotating hardware
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, 3D CAD models, and aerospace OEM specifications
- Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) activities per AS9102 standards
- Generate detailed inspection and dimensional measurement reports
- Work closely with manufacturing, machining, and quality teams to resolve tolerance and dimensional issues
- Validate CMM programs through dry runs, repeatability testing, and correlation checks
- Maintain calibration and performance of Zeiss CMM equipment
- Maintain revision control for inspection programs and documentation
- Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Inspect tight-tolerance aerospace materials including Titanium, Inconel, and Waspaloy
Required Skills
- 2–5 years of CMM programming or metrology experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Calypso and Zeiss CMM machines
- Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading
- Experience with aerospace or precision-manufactured components
- Knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102 quality standards
- Ability to troubleshoot measurement and fixturing issues
- Strong reporting, analytical, and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with PC-DMIS, PolyWorks, Faro laser scanning, or Camio
- Aerospace engine hardware inspection experience
- Experience with SPC, MSA, and dimensional analysis
- Knowledge of model-based definition (MBD) workflows
- Aerospace manufacturing or MRO background preferred
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field

Salary : $90,000 - $115,000
