This role involves utilizing computer simulations to assess thermal and fluid dynamics within automotive systems, ensuring optimal performance and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Conduct 1D & 3D thermal simulation.
- Perform fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation.
- Utilize system simulation tools such as GT-Suite and Siemens Amesim.
- Engage in HVAC systems and cabin comfort analysis.
- Execute full vehicle-level simulation.
- Construct CAE models and perform calibration and validation.
- Develop custom CAE methodologies for improved modeling and analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME).
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a CAE Analyst.
Required Skills
- CAE Simulation (Thermal & Fluid Dynamics) - 10 Years.
- 1D Simulation (GT-Suite / Siemens Amesim) - 8–10 Years.
- 3D CFD Tools (Star CCM , OpenFOAM, Fluent) - 8–10 Years.
- CFD / Thermal Analysis - 10 Years.
- HVAC Systems / Cabin Comfort - 5 Years.
- Vehicle Level Simulation - 5 Years.
- Model Development / Calibration / Validation - 5 Years.
- Mechanical Engineering Fundamentals - 10 Years.
Preferred Skills
- Custom CAE Method Development - 3–5 Years.
- Advanced Degree (ME or related).
Pay range and compensation package
Salary: $85K per annum.
