Behavior Therapist | Entry-Level ABA Provider
Part-Time | Apple Valley, CA
About Prism Healthcare
At Prism Healthcare, we believe therapy should feel supportive, playful, and meaningful. We provide in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and young adults (ages 1–21) diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Our care is compassionate, relationship-centered, and always guided by experienced Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
We’re looking for caring, dependable individuals who are excited to make a real difference—one child at a time.
What You’ll Do
As a Behavior Therapist, you’ll work one-on-one with clients to help them build important life and communication skills in a fun, engaging way. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing individualized, play-based ABA therapy in clients’ homes or community settings
- Implementing behavior intervention plans designed by a supervising BCBA
- Collecting and documenting session data to track progress
- Building positive, professional relationships with families
- Ensuring client safety and following HIPAA and clinical quality standards
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
- Ability to pass a TB test and DOJ/FBI background check
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work at floor level with children
- A commitment of at least 6–12 months
Preferred (but not required):
- Experience in childcare, tutoring, or direct care
- Behavioral Technician, Behavioral Therapist
- ABA therapy or special needs experience
- Afternoon and/or weekend availability
- Spanish-speaking candidates strongly encouraged to apply
Pay & Schedule
- $20.00 – $24.00 per hour
- Flexible, part-time schedule
- Sessions typically occur after school hours, with optional weekend opportunities
