Responsibilities:
- Commission control systems and validate control loops
- Confirm functionality of control logic, configure end device
- Ensure the control system is aligned with engineering documentation
- Red-line documents for As-Built correction recommendations
- Gauge production on assigned electrical equipment
- Assisting QAQC team with MEP inspection
- Report gauge readings, downtime, and other pertinent related various duties
- Note problems and/or recommend courses of action to Pm and Sr. Supervisors
- Assist in witnessing meter calibrations
- Documenting Inspection results (Photos description mark ups)
- Some written documentation required
- Monitor pressures on injection and disposal wells
- Attend and hold necessary meetings
- Perform work in a manner that ensures secure and environmentally safe operation
- Conduct other tasks as required by supervisor which are unique to the assigned geography of the project
- Design reviews and process hazard analysis with Qc and Commissioning leadership.
- Successful candidates will still be working on their tools in the field at times.
- Must possess a current, valid driver's license and the ability to meet and maintain all eligibility requirements to drive a company vehicle.
- 10 years of medium voltage electrical experience
- QAQC or Commissioning documentation and organizational skills
- Proficient in CXAlloy, Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft applications
- Experience supervising testing crews (preferred, not required)
- Termination installation validation/verification experience
- Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot 5–35 kV solid dielectric and paper insulated power cable documentation
- Knowledge of test report review, insulation resistance, DAR (Dielectric Absorption Ratio), and Polarization Index (PI) testing
- Experience with DC, AC, and Very Low Frequency (VLF) type testing
- Ability to ensure reliable performance and safety across electrical systems
- Familiar with ISO standards
- Inspection of wire and physical damage assessment
- Proper termination installation practices, standards, and methods
- Cable type verification prior to use or testing
- Visual inspection of cables, materials, and equipment before use
- Visual inspection of insulation resistance testing
- Failure reporting, documentation, and communication compliance
- Test documentation review per manufacturer specifications and job-specific integrity requirements
