Responsibilities:

• Runsfire alarm wire to NFPAstandards.Lifting, performing repetitive motions, using hand,powertoolsand working in alltypes ofweather are demands of this position.
• Responsible for the connection offire alarmpanels,power supplies,wireconcealment.
• Completes all wiring, connections, and equipment installations ensuring that systems are complete and operational according to contract requirementsincluding installation ofall fire alarmdevices.
• Troubleshootsfire alarmsystem installations to ensure that they are functioning properly and that they meet local, county, state, and/or federal codes and any licensing and/or insurancerequirements.
• Completes miscellaneoustasks asassigned bymanager.
• Be able to do JHA and daily reports.
  
  

Requirements:

• Must have a TexasFire Alarm License (FAL)
• Able to install and service many differentfirealarmmanufacturers.
• High School Diploma orcommensurateexperience
• Twoyears’ experience inthe installation of fire alarmSystemspreferred.
• PC Proficient
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to pass drug and backgroundscreens.
  
  

The job requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain. Wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses always), respirator whenrequired. Able to work 8 -10 hours per day,40 hoursper week, and overtime asrequiredand night shifts. Includes crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, reaching, able to routinely lift heavy objects more than 50 pounds and pushing and pulling of objects isrequired. Repetitive use of arms,handsand fingers. Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of the job
