What You’ll Do

• Provide direct student care, including illness/injury response, emergency interventions, and medication administration
   
• Manage chronic health needs and maintain IHPs, action plans, and required medical documentation
   
• Ensure accurate records, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness (CT DPH, SDE, HIPAA, FERPA)
   
• Train and support staff on medical protocols, emergency procedures, and student-specific health needs
   
• Communicate with families, providers, and school leadership to coordinate care and promote a healthy school environment

What You Bring

• Active Connecticut RN license
   
• Pediatric experience required; autism/developmental disabilities preferred
   
• Knowledge of school health regulations and medication requirements
   
• Experience with seizure management preferred
   
• Comfortable administering emergency medications
