Come join Prism’s team! Looking for people who want to change the lives of children with autism ages 3-14 through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Prism Academy provides a 10-month plus ESY (Extended School Year), intensive, educational program for children with autism. Prism’s ABA treatment is compassionate, relationship-based and a lot of fun. We welcome entry level applicants who are excited to learn! We are pleased to offer a sign on bonus of $500! ($250 to be paid at 90 days and $250 to be paid at 6 months)
ABT will support students through the classroom milieu by implementing mastered/maintained programming, assisting with ADLs including toileting routine and mealtimes. Aides may assist during gym/recess, be assigned to facilitate classroom “centers” and will serve as “prompters” during IEP instruction, small and large group instruction.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma. Preferred: 60 credits of college coursework, associates or bachelors degree
- In the absence of 60 college credits or an associates degree or higher, must have passed the parapro exam
- Special needs experience preferred
- Childcare experience preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical:
- Provide direct support to students during ABA therapy to elementary and middle school students with autism (direct implementation of skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction plans developed by the supervisor)
- Keep students motivated to learn
- Ability to work independently
Basic & Physical
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds (students, equipment, etc.)
- Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time
- Must be able to sit on the floor, in small chairs, or stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to push, pull, carry, reach, bend, twist, run, stoop, climb, etc. as needed
- Must be willing to manage challenging behaviors with support
- Must be able to remain conscious and alert at all times
Salary : $23 - $25
