Position Summary

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales Coordinator is accountable for supporting the Sales Team and Customer Resource Management (CRM) tool, ensuring prospective customers have an error free and overall outstanding sales experience. Success in this role requires inbound marketing coordination, sales funnel coordination (both clients and partners), strong attention to detail, the appetite to follow Sales processes, and the overwhelming desire, and ability, to communicate effectively.

The foundation of Priority One Payroll’s success is built in the sales funnel, where exceptional client rapport, attentive portfolio management, and strong communication between Sales and Operations first take shape.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Become an expert user/in-house trainer and champion the adoption of the CRM tool (inbound marketing & sales funnel coordination) while operating as the data base administrator
• Become an expert voice across payroll, and payroll adjacent services, and Priority One’s primary markets and partners
• Maintain a “full” sales funnel with effective inbound marketing and partner coordination
• Coordinate inbound sales calls through the CRM appropriately and without error
• Market Qualify Leads and distribute them accordingly to the appropriate Sales Specialist
• Prepare, on-time and without error, Sales documentation packages in support of the Sales Specialists
• Quarterback the deal close/win and handoff to the New Client Onboarding Team
• Coordinate all periodic CRM reporting for the Sales team in total
• Support the collection of Voice of Customer (VoC) and communicate it to the Sales Manager, and as appropriate the Sales Team in total
• Communicate all lessons learned to the Sales Manager, and as appropriate the Sales Team in total
• Operate within and continually improve the associated business processes and/or work instructions

What You Must Bring to This Role

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related - desired
• Demonstrated success quarterbacking a sales team and CRM software - required
• Demonstrated success standing up, or improving the functionality of, a CRM solution - desired
• History of success operating in customer facing roles - required
• Demonstrated success rapidly building and maintaining relationships across an organization - required
• History of excellence in communication (verbal and written), active listening, overcoming objections, risk mitigation, and problem-solving - required
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects/priorities at the same time while prioritizing deliverables day-to-day - required
• History of continued learning, and success translating learning into practice and results - required
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Suite - required
• Working knowledge of Execupay, PlatinumPay, Xpress, and SwipeClock software or similar - desired
• History of success operating within the Payroll lifecycle, or similar high attention to detail role(s) - desired
• Fundamental Payroll Certification or Certified Payroll Professional Certification - desired
  note: Priority One Payroll will pay for the certification exam every 3 years.  A $1,000.00 bonus will be paid for the first certification only.
