What You’ll Do
- Build accurate and competitive air & ocean freight quotes
- Develop customized pricing solutions for commercial and government/defense shipments
- Source and negotiate rates directly with carriers, agents, and vendors
- Analyze routing, transit times, equipment, and compliance requirements
- Manage quotes within strict deadlines with a high level of accuracy
- Utilize CargoWise for quoting and rate analysis
- Partner with sales and operations to convert quotes into shipments
- Maintain strong relationships with carriers, vendors, and clients
- Proven experience in international freight forwarding pricing/quoting (air & ocean)
- Strong knowledge of global logistics and transportation modes
- Confidence negotiating rates with carriers and vendors
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- CargoWise experience preferred
- Comfortable working with technology and AI-assisted tools for quoting, pricing, or workflow efficiency
- This is an on-site position and candidates must reside in either the Greater Baltimore, MD area or the Los Angeles, CA area to be considered. Candidates outside of these locations will not be considered at this time, as relocation and sponsorship are not available.
- Salary: $60,000 – $80,000 (based on experience)
