Job Description
The Policy Clerk plays a critical role in the post-closing process by ensuring the accurate and timely issuance of final title insurance policies. This position supports client satisfaction and compliance by maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in document preparation and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Document Distribution: Ensure timely delivery of final title policies to clients, lenders, and other relevant parties.
- Reporting & Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate records of issued policies and prepare regular reports to track production and delivery metrics.
- Client & Team Support: Respond promptly to internal and external inquiries related to title policies, providing excellent customer service and support.
- Post closing and Funding Team Support: Assist where needed with shipping packages.
- Additional Duties: Perform other administrative or operational tasks as assigned to support the department’s goals.
Requirements
Experience/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with title insurance processes preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and title production software a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Core business hours are 8:30am-5:30pm
- Monday through Friday
- 40 hours per week
- In-Office Work: Available for candidates local to Austin, TX.
- Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of application.
