About the Role:
The Product Manager, Banking & Treasury Solutions plays a key role in delivering near-term product enhancements across payment orchestration and instant payment capabilities. This role focuses on translating real customer use cases into clear problem statements, specifications, and prioritized work for engineering teams. The position requires strong product execution skills, API fluency, and the ability to balance customer needs, technical constraints, and regulatory considerations. You will collaborate with engineering, compliance, and business stakeholders to deliver incremental improvements that drive measurable customer impact.
Responsibilities:
- Own near-term delivery for instant payments and orchestration APIs by translating customer use cases into clear requirements and prioritized work.
- Write precise user stories, acceptance criteria, and product specifications for API enhancements and new rail integrations.
- Collaborate with engineering to refine scope, sequence delivery, and reduce implementation risk.
- Partner with compliance and cross-functional teams to identify regulatory constraints (e.g. KYC, OFAC, funds availability) and incorporate them into product plans.
- Act as a point of contact across banking and treasury products, helping route incoming issues and requests appropriately.
- Contribute to the evolution of orchestration capabilities, including decisioning across payment rails (e.g., RTP, FedNow, push-to-card).
- Document routing logic, tradeoffs (speed, cost, risk), and support prioritization of enhancements.
- Track customer pain points and requests; drive investigation, file detailed bugs, and ensure resolution.
- Produce recurring reporting (e.g., “Top customer pain points and actions”) to drive visibility and accountability.
- Prioritize backlog across new features, bugs, and customer requests while balancing technical debt and customer impact.
- Evaluate internal capabilities and external vendor solutions to inform product decisions.
- Participate in customer and prospect conversations to understand use cases, validate feasibility, and define clear problem statements.
- Communicate feasibility decisions clearly, including constraints, tradeoffs, and alternative solutions.
What Success Looks Like:
- Delivery of high-impact API enhancements that address real customer needs.
- Reduction in customer-reported issues and improved customer experience.
- Clear, well-defined product requirements that enable efficient engineering execution.
- Strong collaboration with engineering, compliance, and business stakeholders.
- Effective backlog prioritization aligned to customer impact and business priorities.
- Increased clarity and adoption of payment orchestration capabilities.
- Consistent visibility into top customer pain points and progress toward resolution.
Candidate Requirements:

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and make pragmatic, well-reasoned decisions.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering and compliance.
Preferred:
- Experience working on API-driven products or platforms.
- Familiarity with KYC/AML requirements, compliance processes, and financial regulations.
- Experience working with sales, account management, or customer support teams to gather insights.
- Experience in Agile product development environments.
