What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pipe Welder position at Priority StaffCorp?
We are looking for skilled Pipe Welders on 1st shift and 2nd shift. This is a dedicated welding position with no fitting required. Candidates should be proficient in pipe welding on carbon.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- Perform high-quality pipe welds using TIG, MIG, and Fluxcore processes
- Read and interpret welding symbols and blueprints accurately
- Operate welding positioners
Must pass the following weld tests:

6 schedule 40 carbon pipe test (MIG root, Fluxcore fill and cap) using a pinwheel/rollout/positioner setup

6G weld test on 2½ schedule 80 carbon pipe (TIG all the way out)
