Priority Protection Security Services LLC is currently seeking professional, dependable Armed Security Officers to join our growing team. We specialize in providing high-quality security services for houses of worship, private events, and community-based organizations throughout Metro Detroit. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced officers who take pride in their work and understand the importance of professional presence, situational awareness, and community interaction.
Pay: $23.00 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience, certifications, and assignment)
Responsibilities:
- Provide a visible and professional security presence
- Monitor premises and identify potential risks or suspicious activity
- Maintain detailed and accurate incident reports
- Enforce site-specific rules and post orders
- Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
- Assist with access control and visitor management
- De-escalate situations professionally when necessary
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid Michigan CPL (Concealed Pistol License)
- Previous armed security experience preferred
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Must pass background screening
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in houses of worship, events, or community settings
- Military or law enforcement background (not required)
- CPR/AED Certification
Work Schedule:
- Part-time and on-call positions available
- Typical shifts range from 4 to 8 hours (4-hour minimum)
- Weekend and evening availability preferred
