Position Overview
As a Pool Service Technician, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and cleaning residential and commercial swimming pools, spas, and water features. This role requires attention to detail, physical endurance, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. You’ll work independently in the field while being supported by a dedicated office and management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain proper water chemistry and ensure pools meet health and safety standards.
- Perform routine cleaning of pools, spas, and water features (including brushing, vacuuming, skimming, and filter maintenance).
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and minor repairs as needed.
- Maintain accurate service logs and reports for each property.
- Monitor and track chemical and supply inventory.
- Identify and report any equipment issues or property concerns promptly.
- Maintain a professional and safe work environment at all times.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in a service, maintenance, or labor-based role (pool experience preferred but not required).
- Must be 24 years old or older.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools and maintenance equipment.
- Ability to work independently with strong time-management and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, bend, and move equipment as needed.
- Must be punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented.
