Job Summary:
Priority One is seeking a trustworthy, enthusiastic, and skilled Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional care to our clients in a home environment. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering high-quality support to individuals requiring assistance with daily living activities. Provide Personal Care, Attendant Care, and Respite Care Services
Services include:
Support for activities of daily living (ADL)
· Eating
· Bathing (bed bath, bench shower, sink bath)
· Personal grooming including dressing
· Personal hygiene
· Necessary skin care
· Meal planning and preparation
· Transfer in and out of bed
· Client repositioning as necessary
· Ambulation (walking)
· Toileting and maintaining continence
Home support
· Cleaning
· Laundry
· Shopping
· Home Safety
· Errands
Monitoring
· Clients condition (temperature, pulse rate, observation of respiratory rate, and blood pressure).
· Medication (The caregiver is not responsible for giving medicine; however, this does not preclude the aide from handing the medicine container to the client.
Escort Services
· When necessary transportation may be provided in the client’s Service Plan.
Strength and balance training
Companion Care Services
Services include:
· Socialization – Reading, conversation, assistance with mail and other interaction with participants as appropriate
· Assistance with or supervision of
o Meal/snack preparation
o Participant laundry (washing clothes and linens)
o Participant’s shopping
· Incidental light housekeeping (dusting, sweeping or other light chores to maintain participant in a safe clean environment)
· Sitting service focusing on the participant including supervision, orientation, making appropriate contact in case of emergency
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
