What You’ll be Doing
- Conferring with the Medical Director and the attending physician regarding specific residents assigned to you.
- Consulting with the physician concerning resident evaluation and assist the Director of Nursing in planning and developing the nursing services to be performed for the resident.
- Helping your team members grow their careers—you will change lives!
- Examining residents and their records and charts to distinguish between normal and abnormal findings in order to recognize early stages of serious physical, emotional or mental problems.
- Performing administrative duties regarding assigned residents, such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc.

Qualifications:
A License Practical Nurse responsibilities include:
- Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with facility policies and procedures
- Administer and document medication to residents in an accurate and timely manner
- Observe residents for effectiveness of drug therapy and adverse effects
- Document resident progress notes as required
- Promptly report changes in residents' condition to DON and ADON
- Attend staff meetings, interdisciplinary team meetings, rehab meetings, in-service classes and committee meetings as assigned
- To be successful you must have a passion for helping others as well as the patience needed to assist difficult patients or family members. A good LPN balances empathy and professional care without compromising either.
- Wage is dependent on experience
- This position will be Double Weekends, 7am-11pm
