The Laundry Aide is responsible for ensuring that all resident linens, clothing, and facility laundry are cleaned, sanitized, and distributed in a timely and professional manner. This role supports infection control standards and contributes to a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
Pay Rate: $9.00 per hour
Location: Booker T. Washington Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation

Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute laundry items including resident clothing, bed linens, and towels
- Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and folding machines safely and efficiently
- Follow proper infection control and sanitation procedures
- Label and organize residents’ personal clothing to prevent loss
- Inspect laundry for damage and report items needing repair or replacement
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
- Monitor and restock laundry supplies as needed
- Follow all facility safety policies and procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required)
- Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25–30 pounds
