What are the responsibilities and job description for the CERTIFIED MEDICATION AIDE (71102) position at PRIORITY MANAGEMENT?
Seeking a fulltime medication aide position Mon-Friday 2pm-10pm, Also PRN always needed.
- Administer prescribed medications to residents/patients
- Measure and record vital signs when required
- Observe patients for reactions or side effects
- Document medication administration accurately
- Maintain medication carts and supplies
- Assist residents with daily living activities if needed
- Report changes in patient condition to nurses or supervisors
- Follow safety, infection control, and HIPAA procedures
- Ensure medications are stored properly
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of a state-approved Medication Aide training program
- Current Medication Aide certification/license (requirements vary by state)
- CPR certification may be required
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration
