What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cemetery Grounds Maintenance Crew Member position at Priority Government Solutions?
We are looking for an experienced Landscaper to come and work for us. Ideally, the applicant will have suitable qualifications and should be ready to jump into work right away. This is a very hands-on role and requires a good level of physical fitness, a strong work ethic and the skills to maintain a cemetery and plan for the different challenges of the changing seasons. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated landscaper looking to acquire a position of responsibility.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overall responsibility for a well-groomed appearance
- Mowing, trimming, edging
- Maintaining the general cleanliness and appearance of the site
- Other ground maintenance duties
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous work experience in a similar role
- Use commerical mowers, lawn equipment, and any other general tools
- Knowledge of pesticides (ideally candidates will have experience and qualification)
- Understand and ensure the implementation of the Health Safety policies
- Report any faulty equipment, damaged equipment or any potential hazard
