Position Summary

Priority Construction Corporation is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Laborer/Flagger to support construction operations and help maintain safe work zones on active job sites. The ideal candidate will assist with traffic control, site preparation, material handling, and general labor duties while following company safety procedures and project requirements. This position is essential to ensuring safe and efficient job-site operations for workers, motorists, and pedestrians.

Essential Responsibilities

Direct and control traffic safely through construction work zones using approved flagging procedures
Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices, including signs, cones, barricades, and other safety equipment
Assist with site preparation, cleanup, and general labor tasks as needed
Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment around job sites
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations
Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and the public
Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or equipment issues promptly
Assist equipment operators and skilled trades personnel when needed
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous construction, laborer, or flagging experience preferred but not required
Current Flagger Certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Strong attention to safety and situational awareness
Reliable transportation to and from job sites
Valid driver's license required
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
