We are currently hiring compassionate Homemakers to support individuals in their homes as part of our certified home care services. This role focuses on providing essential non-medical support that enhances safety, comfort, and independence in the home setting.
Role Overview:
As a Homemaker, you will assist clients with household tasks and routine activities that help maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment. Your role is vital in promoting independence and dignity for clients receiving home care services.
Responsibilities:
- Perform light housekeeping such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and laundry
- Change linens and maintain a clean and safe home environment
- Prepare simple meals in accordance with dietary preferences or restrictions
- Shop for groceries and household items as needed
- Assist with organizing and routine home management tasks
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Observe and report any concerns about the client’s safety or well-being
The Ideal Candidate:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in homemaking, housekeeping, or caregiving a plus
- Compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Good communication and time management skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Must pass background checks and health screenings
- Reliable transportation is helpful but not required
