About the Role:
We are seeking compassionate, reliable Home Health Aides to provide essential in-home care services to clients across Rochester. You will play a key role in supporting daily living activities, maintaining client safety, and promoting independence.
Responsibilities:
● Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
● Support mobility needs such as transferring and repositioning
● Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversation
● Prepare meals and ensure nutritional guidelines are followed
● Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, general tidying)
● Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior
● Follow care plans and document daily activities and observations
● Maintain confidentiality and uphold HIPAA compliance
Qualifications:
● Current New York State HHA certification required
● High school diploma or GED preferred
● 1 year of home care or healthcare experience preferred
● CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
● Strong communication skills and attention to detail
● Reliable transportation; valid driver’s license preferred
● Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist with physical tasks as needed
