About Priority 1 Urgent Care
Priority 1 is not your typical urgent care. In addition to treating common illnesses and injuries, we are comfortable managing more complex, higher-acuity cases blending our knowledge, skill, confidence, and compassion. Our team regularly performs and assists with diagnostic procedures, point-of-care testing, and clinical specimen collection - giving our nurses a chance to work at the top of their license in a low-stress, collaborative, progressive practice setting.

What You’ll Need to Join the Priority 1 Team:
- Active NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Solid computer literacy and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR)
- Proficiency in venipuncture, IV placement/therapy, and standard nursing protocols
- Understanding of infection control, environmental safety, and HIPAA/confidentiality standards
- Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment
What the Role Involves:
- Performing all clinical RN duties in a fast-paced, modern urgent care setting
- Able to accommodate sudden changes in patient volume and adjustment of work flow to meet the flexing up and down of same
- Providing outstanding patient care and customer service
- Assisting with triage, basic intake, answering medical inquiries, and supporting patient flow
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to maintain smooth daily operations
- Cleaning, restocking, and maintaining a safe and welcoming clinical environment
