What are the responsibilities and job description for the AP Exam Proctor position at Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools?
- AP Exams take place during the two weeks of May 4th-15th, Monday-Friday, from 7:30am-5:00pm
- Proctors need to be available for either the 7:30am-1pm morning exam, 12-5 afternoon exam, or for the entire 7:30am-5pm period.
- Pay hourly – $20/hours
- Position is not benefit eligible.
- Attend proctor training in late April (time of training TBD, individual trainings can be arranged according to proctor's schedule).
- Proctor exams according to the AP instructions include: distributing exams, reading instructions, monitoring students, collecting and counting exams, keeping exam materials secure until returning them to the AP Coordinator.
- Contact the AP Administrator immediately for any concerns during the exam.
- AP Proctors must be adults; they may not be high school students.
- AP Proctors must have basic computer knowledge
- Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff.
- Please note that you cannot proctor if a member of your immediate family member is taking an AP exam.

All exam proctoring and the training will happen at Prior Lake High School. Schedules are flexible but proctors are expected to be available for 4-6 hours at a time.
