Key Responsibilities
Automatic Press Operation
- Set up, operate, and tear down automatic screen-printing presses
- Load/unload garments efficiently while maintaining print quality
- Register multi-color jobs accurately
- Monitor ink flow, squeegee pressure, and dryer temperature for consistent results
- Perform quality checks throughout the print run
Dark Room & Screen Handling
- Coat, expose, and burn screens following artwork specifications
- Reclaim, degrease, and prep screens using proper chemicals
- Operate exposure units and maintain screen inventory
Ink & Production Workflow
- Mix plastisol inks and adjust viscosity as needed
- Ensure proper curing of plastisol inks using conveyor dryers
- Maintain a clean, organized production area
- Work with the team to meet daily production goals
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience operating automatic screen-printing presses
- Familiarity with plastisol inks, mesh counts, screen tension, and dryer curing
- Ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for long periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
