HP Indigo 100K Digital Press Operator 2nd Shift

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HP Indigo 100K Operator for the 2nd shift to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating digital printing presses, ensuring high-quality output, and maintaining efficient production workflows. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment focused on print advertising, packaging, and custom graphics. Candidates should possess a strong background in print production processes, color management, and quality control to deliver exceptional results. This is a 2nd shift position working 4 - 10 hour shifts per week.

Responsibilities

• Operate HP Indigo 100K and related equipment with precision and attention to detail
• Perform prepress tasks including layout design, typography, and color management to prepare files for printing
• Monitor print quality throughout the production process, making adjustments as necessary to meet specifications
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on digital press machinery to minimize downtime
• Manage workflow efficiently by coordinating with other manufacturing departments
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and quality control procedures during all phases of production
• Maintain accurate documentation of production runs, materials used, and quality checks

Skills

• Proficiency in digital printing technology, especially HP digital presses
• Strong knowledge of prepress processes including layout design, typography, and color management
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for graphic adjustments and file preparation
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as CNC machining and flexo press operations
• Ability to perform quality control assessments to ensure print accuracy and consistency
• Basic understanding of screen printing techniques and print advertising standards is a plus
• Knowledge of forklift operation is desirable for material handling within the production area
• Strong troubleshooting skills for press maintenance and problem resolution during runs
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work efficiently during second shift hours

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
