Responsibilities
- Develop innovative interior design concepts for commercial spaces, including offices, hospitality venues, and more.
- Create detailed drawings and presentations using CAD software such as GIZA or CET
- Produce construction detail documentation that adheres to building codes and safety standards, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints; communicate design ideas clearly through CAD presentations.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously from concept through completion while maintaining schedules and budgets.
- Conduct building code analysis and ensure all designs comply with local regulations and accessibility standards.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors on lighting sales, renovation plans, remodeling efforts, and construction details to ensure design integrity throughout the process.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial interior design with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects such as office environments, retail spaces, or hospitality interiors.
- Proficiency in CAD software including GIZA or CET.
- Skilled in rendering techniques to produce high-quality visualizations that communicate design intent effectively.
- Strong understanding of building code compliance, safety standards, and construction detail documentation.
- Experience managing design projects from initial concept through installation while coordinating with clients and contractors.
- Familiarity with lighting design principles, color theory, graphic design software, and interior design best practices.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with clients regarding project scope, progress updates, and technical details.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently within a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
