Press Assistant - Night Shift (3-day work week!)

Come join our growing team at Print Pro INC! We are a fast-growing printing company conveniently located between Green Bay and Appleton. We print packaging items for the towel and tissue market and mailing envelopes for major couriers.

We currently have multiple night shift press assistant openings (no experience required).

Hours:

12 hour shifts working 5:00pm-5:00am on a 3-day work week (no swing shifts)

Work: Sunday night, Monday night, Tuesday night for 4 months, then switch to - Wednesday night, Thursday night, Friday night for 4 months, and repeat.

Job Description:

Participate in all functions associated with the operation of converting equipment. Assist with day-to-day activities that include a wide range of tasks. In-house training is available for all job functions.

Job Duties:

· Remove printed material from the machine

· Enter weight and footage of finished material into computer system

· Label, palletize, and stretch wrap finished product

· Cut cores

· Monitor inks during press run

· Assist with changeovers upon completion of print job

· Bring unprinted material to the press for upcoming jobs.

· Keep area around press clean and tidy

· Drive Forklift and/or Roll Clamp (in-house certification provided)

Qualifications:

• Willingness and flexibility to work any day of the week, including every other weekend.
• Experience using basic tools including utility knives, brooms, and measuring devices in rulers and scales, etc., used in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively. (Spanish and Hmong translation is available.)
• Able to work independently, follow instructions and be self-motivated.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time during the shift, excluding break periods.
• Able to push rolls with roll jacks and lift 50 pounds or more semi-regularly. Team lift is encouraged.
