Print Masters LTD is a locally owned screen printing and embroidery shop right here in Zanesville, and we're looking for a Screen Print Operator to join our team.

We print a lot of shirts. And hoodies. And uniforms. And pretty much anything else someone decides needs a logo on it.

Some days we're printing for a local business. The next job might be for a school, sports team, clothing brand, organization, or reseller.

We're a small shop, so we're not overly corporate and we're definitely not interested in making this job posting sound like it was written by a committee.

We're looking for someone who shows up, works hard, pays attention, and takes some pride in what they do.

Screen printing experience is definitely preferred. If you already know your way around an automatic press, we'd really like to talk to you.

If you don't have years of screen printing experience but you're mechanically inclined, dependable, willing to learn, and aren't afraid to work, we can teach a lot of this.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

You'll primarily be working on an M&R automatic screen printing press, helping take a design on a screen and turn it into hundreds — sometimes thousands — of finished shirts.

That includes:

• Setting up and operating our M&R automatic press.
• Setting up and registering multi-color print jobs.
• Following work orders so the right design ends up on the right shirt, in the right place, in the right color. Seems obvious. You'd be surprised.
• Installing screens, squeegees, flood bars, and inks for each job.
• Running test prints and making adjustments before production starts.
• Loading shirts and garments onto the press accurately and efficiently.
• Watching registration, ink coverage, print placement, and overall quality while the job is running.
• Making basic press, flash, and dryer adjustments when needed.
• Catching problems before 300 shirts with the same problem make it through the dryer.
• Mixing or preparing ink as needed.
• Helping with job setup and breakdown.
• Keeping the press and your work area reasonably clean and organized.
• Helping the rest of the production team when needed.

Basically: keep good shirts coming off the press and bad shirts from coming off the press.

Who We're Looking For

You might be a great fit if you:

✅ Have previous screen printing experience — especially on an automatic press.

✅ Are mechanically inclined and like figuring out how things work.

✅ Notice when something is slightly crooked, off-center, the wrong color, or just doesn't look right.

✅ Can work at a good pace without getting sloppy.

✅ Show up when you're supposed to.

✅ Don't need someone standing over your shoulder all day to keep you moving.

✅ Can take direction without taking everything personally.

✅ Are willing to ask questions when you don't know something.

✅ Can work with a small team and occasionally jump into something that may not technically be "your job."

✅ Don't mind standing, bending, lifting, moving, and being on your feet throughout the day.

✅ Take some satisfaction in looking at a finished stack of shirts and thinking, Yeah, those turned out pretty good.

Experience Helps. Attitude Matters More.

If you've been running an automatic screen printing press for years, that's fantastic. We'd love to hear from you.

If you're newer to the industry, that doesn't automatically rule you out.

We can teach someone how to run a press.

It's much harder to teach someone to care, show up, pay attention, work hard, and want to get better.

We're looking for that person.
