Position OverviewThe Sales Representative & Business Development Manager is responsible for generating new business, nurturing existing client relationships, and identifying opportunities to expand services within current accounts.
This role is consultative in nature. Success comes from understanding client needs, offering creative solutions, and coordinating internally to ensure exceptional execution.
The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, proactive, organized, and comfortable managing multiple opportunities at once.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across key markets including healthcare, higher education, biotech, nonprofits, and corporate marketing teams
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects
- Conduct outreach via email, phone, LinkedIn, networking, and referrals
- Schedule discovery meetings to understand client needs and challenges
- Present PrintHouse capabilities and recommend appropriate solutions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
- Maintain regular communication with accounts to identify upcoming projects
- Build long-term relationships and position PrintHouse as a strategic partner
- Ensure client satisfaction throughout project lifecycle
- Generate revenue through print, mailing, signage, and promotional product projects
- Identify cross-selling opportunities between print and promotional services
- Prepare quotes and proposals in collaboration with internal teams
- Close new business and expand existing accounts
- Work closely with marketing teams to understand annual calendars, campaigns, and events
- Provide recommendations for print and promotional products that support client goals
- Proactively identify opportunities for mailings, event materials, donor outreach, or branded merchandise
- Coordinate with production, design, and project management teams
- Ensure projects move smoothly from concept to completion
- Maintain accurate records in CRM system
- 3 years experience in sales, account management, or business development
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple opportunities
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
