About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized Concrete Dispatcher to join our team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of ready-mix concrete to our valued customers. As the central communication hub between our drivers, plant operations, and clients, you will be responsible for coordinating schedules, optimizing delivery routes, and resolving issues quickly to maintain high service standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Order Coordination: Receive, review, and confirm customer orders, ensuring all details are accurate and complete before scheduling.
- Scheduling & Dispatching: Assign deliveries to drivers based on order priority, plant production schedules, and driver availability.
- Real-Time Communication: Maintain constant contact with drivers to monitor progress, provide updates, and address any delays or changes.
- Customer Service: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding delivery times, order changes, and service inquiries.
- Problem Resolution: Quickly identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, traffic delays, equipment breakdowns, or weather-related disruptions.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, transportation, or ready-mix concrete operations preferred, but not required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers, drivers, and team members.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, email, etc.).
- Knowledge of local geography, traffic patterns, and delivery routes is highly desirable.
