Overview
Principal Watch, A Private Patrol Co., is seeking reliable and professional Seasonal Pool Monitors to maintain a safe, enjoyable, and well-regulated environment at The Resort community pool and recreational areas. This position is ideal for individuals who are friendly yet professional, confident in enforcing community rules, and committed to providing exceptional service to residents and guests. Applicants must be comfortable working outdoors in hot weather conditions for extended periods while performing their duties.
Availability: Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Schedule Options
Schedule A:
- Friday: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch) | 8 hours
- Saturday: 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM (30-min unpaid lunch) | 6.5 hours
- Sunday: 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM (30-min unpaid lunch) | 6.5 hours

Schedule B:
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (30-min unpaid lunch) | 5.5 hours
- Sunday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (30-min unpaid lunch) | 5.5 hours

Responsibilities
- Patrol pool and surrounding recreational areas hourly, ensuring adherence to all safety guidelines and community regulations.
- Monitor resident and guest behavior, diplomatically addressing violations of Pool & Spa guidelines.
- Enforce HOA rules while providing outstanding customer service consistent with The Resort standards.
- Inspect coolers and personal bags for alcohol or glass containers.
- Respond to safety, health, or welfare concerns immediately; contact emergency services when necessary.
- Assist in de-escalation of conflicts or altercations.
- Document incidents, rule violations, and maintenance issues; submit reports promptly.
- Maintain visibility and accessibility throughout the shift.
- Follow operational procedures, post orders, and safety protocols.
Uniform Requirements
Uniforms will be provided and must include:
- Khaki pants or shorts (appropriate length)
- Sun hat
- Company polo shirt
- Vest or shirt clearly identifying the individual as a “Pool Monitor”
- Appropriate closed-toe footwear (no Crocs, flip-flops, sandals, etc.)
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong observational and conflict management skills
- Friendly yet professional demeanor, confident in enforcing community rules
- Experience in customer service or community supervision
- Ability to follow instructions and post orders reliably
- Background in law enforcement or military service is a plus
- CPR and First Aid certifications are optional but preferred
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Comfortable working outdoors in hot weather for extended periods
- Ability to lift light equipment and walk, stand, or bend for long periods
- Must maintain focus and professionalism under physically demanding conditions
