Job Title: Engineering Technician

Principal Engineering, Inc. is seeking Engineering Technicians who are ready to dive into infrastructure design for projects like roads & bridges, flood protection & drainage systems, and water & wastewater systems with the chance to grow into an engineering project management role. All experience levels are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Draft and design support using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Field visits, data collection, and construction support.
- Quantity take-offs and cost estimation.
- Support permitting and submittals.
Qualifications:
- Associate/Bachelor’s in Civil, Construction, or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
- Entry-level with Bachelor’s or 2 years with Associate degree.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D; MicroStation/GIS is a plus.
Ideal Candidate Skills:
- ABET-accredited degree.
- Familiarity with DOT, AASHTO, ADA standards.
- Experience with consulting firms or public agencies.
